Moving into Westboro, Lexington immediately set a new standard for our burger journey. This was the best burger we had reviewed so far and helped make Lexington one of our favourite restaurants overall. For us, it belongs in the conversation about Ottawa’s best.
The burger delivered everything we were looking for. It was cooked perfectly, packed with meaty flavour and built with the right (and minimal) toppings, a fresh bun and plenty of sauce. At $23, it was not inexpensive, but the execution made the price feel justified.
The shoestring fries were just as impressive and easily among the best we have had at a sit-down restaurant in Ottawa. Service was exceptional as well. Our server knew the menu, checked on us consistently and made sure everything arrived in good time. Paired with the polished Westboro atmosphere, the entire experience felt complete.
Lexington is one of the easiest recommendations from our journey. When someone asks us for a dependable Westboro restaurant for a special night out, this is one of the first places that comes to mind.
